Another related development Look! St Albans brought to the attention of MP’s!
For those who attended our AGM Vanessa Gregory (an independent member of Civic Voice) mentioned she had been invited by Civic Voice to speak about the work of Look! St Albans to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Civic Societies on Wednesdays 11th February 2015 at Portcullis House where ‘Collaborative Planning for All’ their new publication calling for participation not consultation was given its parliamentary launch http://www.civicvoice.org.uk/uploads/files/Collaborative_planning_1.pdf
Vanessa took the opportunity to speak and was delighted with the positive response from both MP’S and fellow Civic Voice members present. She thanked Ian Harvey Executive Director of Civic Voice for the wonderful opportunity to tell members of parliament what we, the community in St Albans, are positively doing to influence the way this precious city develops.
